To join our fire science program please download and complete the (1.) Fire Science Program Application and (2.Call Forwarding allows you to transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice. Successful completion of the “Bridge” program allows the student to immediately enter the workforce as a fully certified career firefighter! The Fire Science Program classes will be held at Anniston Fire Station #3 and Alabama Fire College Regional Training Center at 5304 McClellan Blvd. Students that complete this training are eligible to enter a “Bridge” recruit school to earn their Firefighter I and Firefighter II certification in five additional weeks of hands-on training. They also will complete an Emergency Care Provider Course (ECP) and learn valuable first response emergency medical care. Upon completion of this in depth training, students are certified as a volunteer firefighter.

The training is provided in cooperation with the Alabama Fire College and is accredited by the Pro Board Fire Service Professional Qualifications System and the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress. This training encompasses all the requirements set forth by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Alabama Firefighter’s Personnel Standards and Education Commission. Students are trained to the state standards of a certified volunteer fire fighter. Our Fire Science Program provides high school seniors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting and rewarding career field of the fire service!
